This is one weird photo & one weird combination of musicians. Put together David Enke on funk bass (at left), myself on folky acoustic guitar, Don Richmond on almost everything else bluegrass & acoustic (electric guitar, acoustic guitar, mandolin, Weissenborn, banjo, & fiddle), & Johnny Watson on R&B drums (at right), & you have a sometimes bizarre mix of music. We specialize in everything from Cajun to Jimi Hendrix, & Guy Clark to Otis Redding. Put together just for the Oktoberfest in La Veta in 2001, we try to play at least a couple times a year when we’re all available.
We sometimes lose Don & gain Ron Cardenas on blues guitar & call ourselves OverDrive. We have played several gigs in 2005 with this iteration.
